Macon, Georgia-Fall is around the corner and with it comes the return to school for area children. To make the transition easier, A-OK Portables & Waste Services, Macon Georgia, has joined the donation team supporting Usborne Books & Mores’ matching grant program. This was a 24 hour blitz supporting Usborne & Kane Miller books. These books are exciting, engaging, and offer hours of entertaining reading for readers of all ages. Donations will be used to create book bags to be given to children at their school open house. Each book bag will have one of Usborne Books flexi-bound, lightweight illustrated dictionaries as well as a couple of age appropriate activity books. This will provide students with the resources they need to do their best.

“This fall children will return to school in unique circumstances. Anything the community can do to ease that transition is a plus” says Ms. Lee Insley, Owner of A-OK Portables & Waste Services. A-OK supports many community activities through donations as well asparticipation in events such as holiday parades and Touch A Truck Day. “Supportingthis Blitz was a no-brainer” Lee’s husband Mark explains. “Reading skills are a basicbuilding block to future learning.”
