The AMCS Platform built specifically for the waste and recycling industry is surely delivering on customer expectations. What we’re seeing with the onrush of adoption of the AMCS Platform is the need for digitalization that provides amazing efficiencies in one SaaS cloud solution that offers end-to-end visibility, security readiness and the ability to scale and adapt to market changes.
Commenting on the high adoption of the AMCS Platform this year, AMCS President of North America, Michael Winton said: “There was strong interest right from the start of the year with our early adopters of our technology. We started to really build up momentum at the end of June with the launch of our summer product release and an increased market exposure at WasteExpo. After moving into the second half of the year, we saw a sudden surge of engagement from customers embracing our technology at an extraordinary rate — averaging one new agreement per week.”
We now have over 100 projects in-flight – a mix of new AMCS Platform customers, existing legacy customers looking to embrace more modern technology, and other customers who are looking to expand their use of AMCS Platform to capture additional business or acquisitions. The customers vary from small operators to mid-market providers, all the way up to some of the Top Tier waste and recycling companies in North America and across the globe. We are now seeing an interesting trend this year that 60% of the technology adoption is coming from the small to mid-size businesses.
We are well positioned to manage the strong demand for our technology through world-class professional services to make the transition as quick and easy as possible for our customers. We launched some key initiatives this year focused on our customers’ satisfaction, customer success and ongoing collaboration. We value our customers and their trust in AMCS as their preferred technology partner and continue to play a pivotal role in providing them with best-in-class technology to future proof their business.
AMCS has been responding to the needs of the waste and recycling industry by going above and beyond customer expectations offering advanced technology and ongoing innovations. The industry collectively has come to recognize the need for modern technology to digitize their business in order to thrive now and in the future. 2021 has certainly turned out to be the ‘Year of Innovation’.
