Maryland Environmental Service (MES) named Beth Wojton as MES Deputy
Director. In this role, Ms. Wojton will serve as chief operating officer for
the organization and as a member of the MES Board of Directors. With the
concurrence of Governor Larry Hogan, Ms. Wojton was selected for the
position by MES Director/CEO Roy McGrath.

³During her time at MES, Beth has consistently demonstrated great talent and
wise judgment. She is a knowledgeable environmental services professional
who has proven time and time again she knows how to make great things happen
for both the public and private sector partners we serve,² said Mr. McGrath.
³Our 800 teammates and the State of Maryland will continue to benefit from
her expertise and her ability to deliver solutions,² he added.

serve the citizens of Maryland, I am honored² said Deputy Director Wojton.

Ms. Wojton was promoted from her recent position as MES Chief of Staff. In
her previous role, she worked directly with the organization¹s departments,
from administration to operations, to ensure a proactive approach of
delivering great services for all of the organization¹s many partners. Prior
to being Chief of Staff, Ms. Wojton served as MES Assistant Director and
then Managing Director of Administration, and Director of Business
Development.

She also has former, local government experience with the Baltimore City
Mayor’s Office and Department of Transportation. Ms. Wojton is a recipient
of the YWCA of Anne Arundel County¹s Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN)
award. A graduate of Towson University, Ms. Wojton holds a Bachelor¹s of
Science in Political Science. Her appointment is effective immediately.
