Boson Energy announces that a joint venture contract has been executed between U.S. based regional medical waste company Approved Storage & Waste Hauling (ASW) and Luxembourg-based developer of next-generation clean waste-to-energy solutions Boson Energy. The JV contract embodies the shared vision of both Boson & ASW’s senior leadership teams, to transform the way regulated medical waste is currently treated, from a fractured, environmentally inefficient process to a clean, consolidated, environmentally responsible method benefitting all stakeholders.

In addition to solidifying Boson and ASW’s commitment to build and operate their first plant together in the North East U.S., this contract outlines a map to jointly develop a minimum of 20 plants across the country. This is an industry first in the global medical waste industry and a landmark development in Boson Energy’s medical waste treatment business in the U.S.

ASW is the second largest medical waste management company in the North East U.S. operating three existing medical waste facilities and servicing 11 states and the District of Columbia. ASW Vice President Charles Dippolito, Jr: “This agreement reinforces our commitment of creating local jobs and utilizing environmentally sustainable technologies in communities that benefit from them the most”

Boson Energy Founder and CEO Jan Grimbrandt: “Boson Energy could not ask for a better partner. ASW is a strong regional player in the medical waste treatment space and ASW’s excellent track record shows that they truly understand what it takes to build an infrastructure in a highly regulated environment. Charlie’s insights and tenacity in a business he built from the ground up can only enhance our joint effort in the US”.
