Cambridge Companies, a leading design/build contractor for the recycling and waste industries, announces that as of Jan. 1, 2021 company ownership has transitioned to the next generation. Jeff Eriks, longtime partner, and son of company founder Ray Eriks has purchased the company with business partner Bryan Young. Ray and Linda Eriks will be consulting for Cambridge as it continues as well as enjoying new personal projects and well-deserved rest and relaxation. Jeff and Bryan are looking forward to growing the business, building current client relationships, expanding our client base, and continuing the tradition of excellence instilled at Cambridge.
Jeff Eriks will serve as President and will continue in his current role of leading marketing and pre-construction activities. Bryan Young will serve as Vice President and lead the administrative functions of the company. Jeff and Bryan want to thank Ray and Linda for building a great company and team and for trusting them to take into the future.
While Jeff Eriks has been with Cambridge since October of 2000, Bryan Young joined Cambridge in July of 2020. Bryan has a long history in the solid waste and recycling industries with his 15 years at Republic Services, Inc (RSG). Bryan’s experience in solid waste and his financial background will help Cambridge in many ways going forward.
2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Cambridge and we look forward to seeing where we can take the company over the next decade and beyond!
