Cambridge Companies has been carefully monitoring the growing recommendations from governmental and state health agencies regarding personal and public safety amid the COVID-19 outbreak. We, as an organization, must strive to maintain the safety of all at our job-sites and offices as well as working to keep our clients projects moving forward.

Just like everyone else, we are concerned about the health of employees, our families and anyone who works at our job-sites as well as their families. We are currently taking the following proactive and precautionary measures:

The country as a whole, outside of Boston, MA, has kept construction moving forward as it is a vital part of the economy of the US. We are taking various precautions on our sites to keep our teams safe as well as those of our subcontractors and suppliers.  We are providing our field offices with the same disinfecting and personal care items that the CDC recommends for everyone. We have also asked our cleaning crews of temporary toilets and other such items to increase the frequency of cleaning and refilling sanitizer and other required items on site. Our various project meetings on site are done via conference call or outside at a safe distance, as recommended by the CDC. We have told all site workers to keep a safe distance when working or talking to one another.  While we understand the need for social distancing, it is also not possible for the men and women in construction to work remotely, so it is our job to make sure we manage the sites effectively.  Our goal is to keep everyone safe while also keeping our customers projects moving forward and the construction workers employed.

Our office is currently open; however, we have made preparations for employees to work remotely if that should become necessary. Many of our employees currently work remotely from time to time, therefore, we do not expect there to be any disruption to the services provided to our clients. We have asked for all meetings to be conducted virtually or over the phone as opposed to in-person if at all possible.

Since this is a rapidly changing situation, we will provide updates if anything changes as new information comes to light. We do not foresee any interruptions or delays in our daily business dealings as we continue to adapt to the situation at hand. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate the trust you have placed in us. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
