The Florida Recycling Partnership Foundation has announced its 2022 leadership team. Elizabeth Castro DeWitt, President & CEO for the Florida Beverage Association was elected as Chair.  Karl Berven, Director, Corporate Services Bealls, Inc. will serve as Chair-Elect, Donn Githens, President of Goodwill Manasota was elected Secretary and James P. Toner, Director of Government Relations for the International Bottled Water Association will continue as Treasurer.

Three new board members were also elected to serve on the Board of Directors: Jeanna Emerson, CEMEX; Billi Jo Huddleston, Florida Power & Light and Mike Rubin, Florida Ports Council. The following Board Members will continue to serve:  Erin Black – Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida); Harold Bowman – DAR PRO; Lisa Gilliard – Publix Super Markets; Steve Lezman – PepsiCo; Dawn McCormick – Waste Management Inc. of Florida; Jeremy Miller – Florida Goodwill Association; Derieth Sutton – Niagara Bottling and Andrew Williams – MARPAN.

Keyna Cory will continue as Executive Director of the Foundation. Florida Recycling Partnership Foundation is a coalition of companies at the forefront of developing and adopting sustainable business practices that not only promote recycling but reduce and reuse our resources. Their mission is to educate policy makers, business leaders and the public about the benefits of recycling. In the past eight years the organization has grown from five to 26 members and have conducted approximately 20 recycling workshops/summits throughout the state.  They are also responsible for coordinating Florida Recycles Week with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
