The new waste management program for the Municipality of North Grenville will begin Monday, Feb. 1. The enhanced program includes organics collection (food waste and related items), seasonal curbside pickup of leaf and yard waste, as well as large and bulky items. Recycling remains the same.

Solid waste (garbage) collection will be bi-weekly (every other week). “As we prepare for the new waste management program, we encourage you to carefully review the Solid Waste, Recycling and Organics Collection Guide to better understand the new waste management program,” said Mayor Nancy Peckford.

“Council recognizes that this will be a significant transition and we are committed to actively working with residents and businesses to get it right,” she added.
