Industrial Truck & Equipment (ITE) recently announced the acquisition of Balar Equipment, one of the Southwest’s most recognized truck & equipment dealerships. Located in Phoenix, AZ, Balar Equipment provides trucks, bodies, equipment, parts, and service for the solid waste, utilities, and other municipal and commercial markets. They are an authorized dealer for the leading truck body and equipment brands including, Heil®, Schwarze, Vac-Con, Galbreath, Stellar, Autocrane, Wachs, PB Loaders, Marathon, 3rd Eye, Tommy Gate, and more.

Robby DeHart, principal of ITE said, “ITE companies have always had a significant customer base in Arizona and the Western United States. This new location will enable us to dramatically increase our ability to provide superior services to that region, further strengthening our position as a trusted leader in the industry.”

Founded in 1985, Balar Equipment is a full-service commercial truck & equipment dealership with a two-acre facility that includes a five-bay service department, 3,000 sq. ft. parts warehouse, and office complex. They serve a wide range of national private and municipal customers, with specialties in the solid waste, street maintenance, sewer and water, utility, construction, and other commercial markets. Their warehouse maintains a large parts inventory for all product lines, and they are often able to provide same-day delivery to their customers.

DeHart stated, “The significant growth of the ITE group of dealerships can largely be attributed to our focus on excellence and by building teams of the most talented people in the business.” He continued, “We are excited to introduce Michael Neubauer as the new General Manager for Baler Equipment and are confident that his experience, impeccable reputation, and work ethic are a perfect fit to take Balar to the next level.”
