CETCO announces that Industrial Wastewater Technologies, formerly part of CETCO Energy Services, is now a part of CETCO’s Environmental Products division. This new structure will allow CETCO to better leverage the capabilities of the Industrial Wastewater Group and build on the growth of Environmental Products with FLUORO-SORB® adsorbent.

Industrial Wastewater Technologies retains the same name but will be integrated with the Environmental Products division to provide an expanded product portfolio. “The Industrial Wastewater Group is a perfect strategic fit with Environmental Products – both groups provide complementary product and service offerings for the wastewater treatment space. As a result of this new organizational structure, we will add FLUORO-SORB® adsorbent for PFAS removal to our existing  filtration-based technologies, chemical treatments, and solidification product lines, which are supported by over 40 years of application capabilities delivering a broad portfolio of solutions to our clients,” said Barry Shadrix, Product Line Manager, CETCO Water and Wastewater Treatment.

This announcement follows CETCO’s recent launch of FLUORO-SORB® adsorbent, a proprietary, NSF-certified product that effectively treats multiple variants of PFAS, offering an innovative remediation option for groundwater as well as water treatment plants. “The commercialization of FLUORO-SORB® adsorbent and the focus on its many applications in the water treatment space makes this integration especially strategic,” Shadrix said, “We are much better positioned to support the broader business unit’s need for equipment design and installation capabilities for FLUORO-SORB® and we will have a more comprehensive offering to support existing customers’ water treatment programs.”

Industrial Wastewater Technologies has been an integral part of CETCO since 1978 with a primary focus on the oil and gas industry. Over time, the division has expanded its services to accommodate a range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, metal finishing, corrugated box and paints. The reorganization provides a more precise marketplace positioning. “For more than 25 years, the Environmental Products division at CETCO has focused on the protection and remediation of groundwater, soil and sediment,” said Shadrix. “By bringing Industrial Wastewater Technologies into the fold, the Environmental Products division will better serve customers who are seeking new solutions to address water treatment and remediation projects, while continuing to deliver on its mission of protecting water, soil, and sediment.”
