The Hainesport Transportation Group has named John Thomas president of R&B Debris, one of its subsidiary companies. R&B Debris, based in Hainesport, NJ, provides transportation services for hazardous and non-hazardous materials, providing disposal solutions through a network of private and public landfills in the Greater Philadelphia region.

In this role, Thomas will be responsible for strengthening the relationships with the company’s current clients and disposal partners and spearheading efforts to grow R & B Debris through new partnerships and planning a long-term strategy in an ever-changing industry.

“John has decades of experience in the transportation industry, with significant positions in fleet management,” said Darryl Caplan, Managing Partner of The Hainesport Transportation Group. “Bringing his expertise to R&B Debris will allow the company to grow under his leadership.”

Thomas was practically raised in the transportation industry. In addition to his parents’ operating a tractor-trailer company, Thomas has worked for Statewide Hi-Way Safety as the fleet maintenance manager, for Universal Express as a fleet manager, and as operations manager for M.L. Ruberton Construction and then it’s sister company, Aquatex.

In 2016, John joined R&B Debris as a transportation and disposal specialist to help the organization grow and develop into larger markets. “I’m looking forward to taking R&B Debris to the next level, in terms of revenue and in services we can provide as well as in finding opportunities for innovative partnerships,” said Thomas. “I have spent my entire professional career to this industry and as the business evolves with the times, it’s both challenging and exciting to stay ahead of the changes.”
