Our client located in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Roll Off Driver for their sanitation company. The Roll-Off Driver will safely operate a heavy-duty truck preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with company benefits, being a part of their Union. Roll Off Driver Responsibilities · Prepare, load, and transport large mobile open top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations · Navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways, and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes · Perform pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) · Follow route assignments, completing end of day documentation and check out process · Position and/or return containers onto customer’s property, ensuring lids and doors are properly replaced, not blocking driveway entrances or traffic · Notify Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including blocked containers, closed lots, street, alleyways, or safety hazards · Communicate customer requests to Route Manager or Dispatch · Complete and submit customer tickets as required Roll Off Driver Qualifications · Must have valid Class A or B license, with 3 – 5 years experience · Waste Industry Driving experience of 2 years · Successfully complete pre-employment DOT Drug Screen · Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices, according to Department of Transportation and State requirements *Waste Industry Driver Retirees are welcomed to apply* Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 3am – 11am OR 3pm – 11pm (Overtime Available) Pay: $30.94 For immediate consideration, please send your resume to [email protected]
