This week’s Safety Monday, presented by Waste Management, urges drivers to follow the rules of the road to avoid incidents. “We want to remind waste collection vehicle drivers to follow all appropriate traffic laws and regulations,” said Kirk Sander, chief of staff and vice president of safety and standards for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA). “The rules of the road might vary from city to city and town to town.”
“We are pleased to provide this industry-renowned safety resource to anyone who requests it,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “You do not need to be a member of NWRA to receive it.”
