Earlier this year, the National Waste and Recycling Association Women’s Council elected its Board for 2022. The officers and board members for 2022 are:

“With the departure of Peggy Macenas; then Katie Evans transitioning to the National Waste and Recycling Association, I am honored to be elected as president of the NWRA Women’s Council.” said incoming president, Pam Caron, Sr. Vice President of Waste & Recycling Practice, Risk Strategies Company. “For nearly twenty years, the Women’s Council members and the Board have worked hard to foster the professional development of our members in the waste industry while striving to increase their business, financial, and leadership skills through education, workshops, mentoring, and networking.”

In addition, the Women’s Council offers scholarships to students in pursuit of a career in the environmental industry. This year, the Women’s Council will award $60,000 in scholarships to reflect the National Waste and Recycling Association’s 60th Anniversary.
