Orion Waste Solutions was recently awarded a new 7-year residential solid waste collection contract with the Town of Oneida, Wisconsin.  Oneida previously had a subscription-based collection system and wanted to change to one service provider.  With Orion’s history of providing recycling service to Oneida residents, through a contract with Outagamie County, they were very familiar with Orion’s first-class customer service.

Upon Oneida’s decision, Orion had only three weeks to deliver new carts and notify residents that service would start on June 1st. “Our local Wisconsin team worked tirelessly to assemble the resources necessary to flawlessly commence this new contract on schedule”, commented Dean Kattler, Orion’s CEO.  “Oneida is our first solid waste collection contract in Wisconsin, and we look forward to many more opportunities to service new customers.”

“I was very pleased with the professional way Orion handled the transition in the Town. They were very, very polite to work with in getting everything set up with the town, from getting the barrels out, the billing, to getting everything put in place for it wasn’t easy,” said the Town of Oneida Board Chairperson Scott Schaumberg.
