Residents are noticing the fleet of new blue collection trucks roaming the streets of Outagamie County. As part of a recently awarded new 7-year recycling contract with Outagamie County, Orion Waste Solutions has deployed a brand-new fleet of fully automated collection trucks. These state-of-the-art trucks were specifically designed to decrease litter that often escapes during servicing in high wind environments. “Thanks to special features of the New Way built sideload body, litter is almost non-existent” stated Jeff Patton, Orion’s General Manager for Wisconsin. “As well, the new trucks are cleaner, quieter and more efficient”.
“We sincerely appreciate Orion’s investment, planning and execution to get this new fleet on the road without any customer service interruptions, commented Brian Van Straten, Director of Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste Department. “It’s not an easy task to service more than 66,000 residents in a mostly rural environment, but Orion makes it look easy.
