The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) welcomes Jennifer Jones as its new director of industry standards to lead the Association work on domestic and international industry codes and standards. In this role, Jones will develop, implement and manage PLASTICS’ American National Standards Institute Standards Program.
Jones most recently served as a senior standards associate with the American Petroleum Institute (API), which included managing standards committees for multiple petroleum industry sectors. Previously, Jones was a quality associate with API, where she reviewed quality system and manufacturing process audit reports.
“Jennifer’s many years of experience with standards applications will provide important insights to support our membership committees,” said PLASTICS’ Interim President and CEO, Patty Long. “She is a great addition to the PLASTICS team.”
