Rush Enterprises, Inc., which operates the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America, announced today that Vice President of Marketing and Communications Karen Konecny will retire on June 22, 2022.

Konecny joined Rush Enterprises in 2006 as National Marketing Director and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Communications in 2010. During her tenure, she developed a clear vision for the Rush Enterprises brand, identifying opportunities to strengthen and align the company’s external and internal marketing and communication efforts, supporting strategic growth in all areas of the company. Prior to joining Rush Enterprises, Konecny spent 11 years with Peterbilt Motors Company as their Communications Director as well as various marketing and communications roles in the automotive and aircraft manufacturing industry.

Gary Willis has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Willis has served as the Director of Marketing for the company since 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience in Marketing, including 18 years in the commercial vehicle industry. “Gary’s transformation of our marketing and digital efforts has directly influenced the way our business interacts with customers, and in his new role, he will continue to focus on that transformation to enhance our employee and customer experiences,” said Rush.
