Think Reusable
Those disposable plates, plastic necklaces, silly green glasses, and so on and so on might cute and cheap, but what do you plan on doing with them when the day is over? If the answer is the trash, maybe rethink your plan. Consider decorations made of materials that can stand the test of time a bit better. Maybe get some ceramic plates for the house instead of plastic disposables. And for your accessories, look into things made of things like fabric or metal since you should be able to use them for several years at least. Better yet, if you plan on being out the entire day of St. Patty’s, maybe rethink decorations in general. It will save you time and money as well as landfill space.
