If you are currently enrolled as a student and would like to learn about plastics recycling issues and network with recycling’s most experienced professionals, consider attending NERC’s Fall Conference on October 29 – 30 in Providence, Rhode Island. NERC has one scholarship left for the Much Ado About Plastics Conference that will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
At the Conference, plastics recycling issues will be the focus. Presentations will include: the packaging industry’s journey towards sustainability; the paradox of plastics; the economics of and lessons learned from Extended Producer Responsibility legislation; single use plastic legislation; innovative products, programs and technology; the Basel plastics decision; the value of plastics in today’s marketplace; toxics in packaging; PFAS; andstrategies for plastics education.
