Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) recently announced Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) as a winner of the 2021 Ebby Halliday and Maurice Acers Business/Industry Award. The Beautify Texas Awards, formerly the Keep Texas Beautiful Awards, recognize the efforts of those working to enhance their community and protect the Lone Star State. These awards range in honoring extraordinary volunteers, professionals, youth, educators, businesses, local/civic governments, organizations, and specific projects and programs.
The Ebby Halliday and Maurice Acers Business/Industry Award is one of ten categories and recognizes a business with sound environmental principles supporting the Keep Texas Beautiful mission. TDS is incredibly deserving of this recognition and endeavors to stay a step ahead, by continuing to enhance company initiatives such as integrated environmentally responsible recycling and waste diversion solutions, regional waste-related education programs and philanthropic efforts, and disaster relief support when needed. They are even home to an exotic wildlife ranch, where the animals roam peacefully just yards from the landfill.
