Tennessee Sustainability Conference

The annual Tennessee Sustainability Conference is a partnership between Tennessee Recycling Coalition, Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Tennessee Environmental Conference, and brings together environmental professionals from across the region.

The upcoming three-day event offers attendees learning opportunities on the latest trends and best practices in environmental sustainability. Top environmentalists will offer a range of sessions, panel discussions, workshops and training classes. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new technologies, regulations, environmental safety, and case studies impacting the way natural resources are managed. Peer to peer networking, as well as conducting business in the popular exhibitor area, are highlights of the gathering. Most importantly, key sessions will explore solutions and best practices for managing environmental sustainability.

The Tennessee Recycling Coalition Awards presentation is a highlight of the conference, including awards presented to “Business Recycler of the Year,” “Government Recycler of the Year,” “TN Top Recycler,” and “Non-Profit Recycler of the Year.”

Additionally, Tennessee mayors will gather for the 6th annual Mayor’s Retreat Aug. 20, to gain resources, share in conversation, and collaborate for solutions. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will provide information and updates on various programs, including Brownfield Grants, the 2035 Solid Waste Plan, and more.
