Planning has started for the 2016 Federation of New York Solid Waste Association’s Conference and Trade Show – and the call has gone out for presentation abstracts – as well as exhibitors and sponsors. The conference runs May 15-18 at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, NY. The nationally known Federation Conference continues to offer timely topics and trends by its ability to attract top speakers and experts in all fields. You may be an “expert in the field” and not recognize it, but sharing information is how knowledge is passed on. If you have an innovative program or improved process that you’d like to share with hundreds of your peers, please consider presenting.

Abstracts of up to 500 words will be accepted through Nov. 6, 2015, on any topic associated with solid waste, including waste reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, waste-to-energy (WTE) and landfilling operations. Presentations are generally 20 minutes, followed by questions and answers. Abstracts of papers are easily submitted through the Conference website at www.nyfederation.org. (Papers from the 2015 Conference can be viewed there also).

Exhibitors are being sought for the 2016 Federation of New York Solid Waste Association’s Conference and Trade Show. The conference draws upwards of 700 attendees from around the Northeast, Midwest, South, Canada and Europe – and exhibiting in the Trade Show provides a direct link to top-level executives and a forum to meet existing clients and customers. There are also many sponsorship opportunities available. Contact the conference website at www.nyfederation.org or Matt Curley (518) 813-5126 (e-mail: [email protected]).

Exhibitors representing equipment manufacturers, engineering, finance and legal consultants, associations, government agencies and environmental groups will reach public and private sector decision-makers from New York and the Northeast. There are many opportunities to interact with potential customers, from the Sunday Night Adirondack Cookout Reception, to Monday and Tuesday continental breakfasts and refreshment breaks, all held in the exhibitor area. This is the 19th year the Conference will take place at The Sagamore, a historic four-diamond resort on Lake George. The conference draws upwards of 700 attendees from around the Northeast, Midwest, South, Canada and Europe and continually attracts new attendees.
