The Florida Recycling Summit at Anheuser-Busch Brewery will be held on Wednesday, April 13.  This Jacksonville event will bring together top Florida businesses and associations to discuss recycling efforts in the state.  Speakers will discuss current recycling trends and how recycling has positively impacted their company as well as consumers. Sessions include:

  • “Recycling @ Work” will be presented by Brenda Pulley, Sr. Vice President – Recycling for Keep America Beautiful.  This program is designed to help any size company begin or enhance its current recycling efforts.
  • Novolex is North America’s leader in packaging.  Mark T. Daniels, Sr. VP Sustainability & Environmental Policy will talk about the changes in products and recycling efforts.
  • Ken Wilkey, Sr. Resident EHS Manager for Anheuser-Busch who will talk about  how they recycle approximately 99.8% of the solid waste generated in the brewing and packing process
  • Tour of Anheuser-Busch Brewery – behind the scenes guided tour showing sustainability efforts as well as how beer is brewed and bottled.
  • At the end of the tour, there will be a “Social Hour” in the Tasting Room so that participants can sample products produced at the Jacksonville Brewery


Program begins at 2:00 pm and the Summit will be held 111 Busch Drive, Jacksonville, FL.

The cost to attend the Florida Recycling Summit at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery is $75.

The Summit is presented by the Florida Recycling Partnership, Publix, Florida Beverage Association, Keep Florida Beautiful, and Waste Management.
