As organized by the Joing Legislative Conservation Committee, there will be a public hearing covering Pennsylvania’s Covered Device Recycling Act (CDRA, Act 108 of 2010) on March 21, 9am – 11am at the CAPITOL COMPLEX, Harrisburg, PA – Hearing Room 8E-A, Capitol East Wing.  The hearing is to provide legislative review of the Covered Device Recycling Act, implementation, and challenges experienced under the existing law.

Although the March 21 AGENDA has been determined, anyone can submit written testimony for consideration.  Testimony need not have a specific format, and can be accepted in the form of an email, written letter, or as an electronically submitted document.

In order for Joint Legislative Committee members to review your testimony prior to the March 21st hearing, your written testimony should be submitted on or before March 15, 2016.  The Joint Legislative Conservation Committee will accept written testimony up to 90 days past the date of the hearing, June 21, 2016.

A live video feed will be available for viewing the hearing at PASENATEGOP.COM if you are unable to attend. Given critical concerns of the Covered Device Recycling Act in Pennsylvania’s recycling industry, it is anticipated that attendance will be significant. If you plan to attend the hearing, please contact Mike Nerozzi, Communications Specialist, Joint Legislative Conservation Committee at [email protected] or via phone at 717.787.7570.
