According to Terri Goldberg, President of MassRecycle, Executive Director Abbey Massaro has made the decision to step down from her role with MassRecycle in the coming months. Goldberg says, “Over the past year and a half, Abbey has provided dedicated leadership to the organization and has helped advance important programs, partnerships, and initiatives across the state. We are grateful for her commitment to MassRecycle and its mission.
“While stepping down as Executive Director, Abbey will continue to support MassRecycle’s grant work and work closely with the Board and staff during the transition period to help ensure a smooth handoff of responsibilities.
“The MassRecycle Board, staff, and volunteers remain committed to continuing the organization’s programs, member engagement, advocacy efforts, and upcoming events. We will share additional information about leadership plans and next steps later this summer.
