Orlando City Soccer Club and Waste Pro USA, Inc., (Waste Pro) announced a multi-year partnership today whereby the South’s premier waste removal and recycling services company becomes the team’s Official Waste Service and Recycling Partner. Per Club policy, financial terms were not disclosed. Waste Pro was founded in Central Florida and is Orlando’s fourth largest privately owned company with revenues exceeding $500 million. Under the terms of the agreement, Waste Pro will receive branding and on-site activation beginning with the 2015 Major League Soccer season.  They will also be permitted the use of Orlando City’s marks and logo on their vehicles and in promotions and marketing campaigns. Lastly, Waste Pro’s sponsorship with Orlando City Soccer Club will extend into 2016 when the Lions move into their new Downtown soccer stadium.

“Waste Pro is a strong supporter of Orlando City and we’re thrilled to have them join our family of partners,” said Club President and Founder Phil Rawlins. “We share the same vision for success and believe this relationship will be mutually beneficial. Interest from local, regional and national businesses continues to increase, as companies realize the potential benefits of a long-term partnership with Major League Soccer’s 21st Club.”

“We are impressed to see the commitment Orlando City has made to Central Florida and are proud to be a part of this exciting professional sports organization in our home town.  There is a direct connection to our thousands of customers and the Club’s supporters in Orange and Seminole Counties and beyond,” said Waste Pro Chairman and CEO John J. Jennings.
