Business is growing in today’s thriving market, and so is the need for additional qualified personnel. With that in mind, WEIMA America has hired Dale Walker as a Sales Engineer. WEIMA feels that Walker’s 30+ years of experience in the industry will be a valuable asset to both the company and its customers. As a Sales Engineer, Walker will focus primarily on the Waste-to-Energy markets and on applications that require a two-stage system. His proficiency in the CAD software will benefit the company especially in these industries, which require precise planning and a certain familiarity with these applications.
Walker comes to WEIMA America with many years in the size reduction industry. He is no stranger to working on waste and recycling projects within size reduction machinery operations. Most recently, he worked with CP Group based out of San Diego, California. His primary focus there included designing and selling application-specific waste and recycling systems. Prior to that, he was a Manager of Sales and Engineering at Vecoplan, LLC. When asked about his favorite projects in the past, Walker chuckled. “I like the weird applications. I love a good challenge!” He particularly enjoys working with applications that seem to have no recycling value and designing fully-integrated systems to fit his customer’s needs.
