Bobcat North America, a leading solid waste holding company based in Sarasota, Florida, today acquired the operations of Ocoee-based Russo and Sons, Inc., the largest construction and demolition waste hauler in central Florida.  BNA is led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Dietrich and President Billy Dietrich, two longtime solid waste industry veterans who have a lengthy and proven track record for successfully and safely operating solid waste companies and providing outstanding customer service.

BNA President Billy Dietrich said, “We are very excited to acquire the Russo and Sons business and we look forward to continuing their excellent level of service in the greater Orlando area and throughout central Florida.”

“The Russo business is a great way to expand BNA’s current operations in Sarasota, Fort Myers and other communities in southwest Florida,” said Dietrich.  “This acquisition is an important part of BNA’s strategic growth plan over the next several years.”

Mike and Marilyn Russo, the former owners of Russo and Sons, will remain with the business under BNA’s ownership. “We are very pleased to become a part of the BNA family,” said Mike Russo.  “BNA’s focus on excellent customer service, creating a safe and ethical workplace and promoting employee initiative is right in line with our values.”

“This is an exciting time for BNA,” said Marilyn Russo. “It’s great to know our business has become part of a successful, growing company with an even brighter future ahead.”
