The Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) announces the return of their educational webinars entitled EREF Science Sessions, which will kick off this summer. Science Sessions provides content solid waste and sustainability professionals need in brief, interactive segments lasting less than an hour foregoing the typical presentation/webinar-style. These sessions will be offered at no cost to attendees.
Session topics for 2023 include:
- PFAS Policy & State of Science
- Black Goo
- Advances in Landfill Emissions Measurement
- Climate Change Impacts on Solid Waste
- Elevated Temperature Landfills
- Recycling
Additional topics will be covered as well and released in the future.
The Science Sessions will center around EREF’s three strategic research priorities: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and their impact on climate change, emerging contaminants, and advancing materials circularity & recycling.
