FINN Corporation, manufacturing landscape and erosion control equipment, welcomes several new members to its organization as it looks towards increased market share and greater industry leadership. Greg Lee has accepted the position of Vice President Sales, Marketing & Aftermarket. Lee joins FINN with more than 20 years of experience in industrial product and mobile equipment sales force management, marketing, aftermarket/customer care, new product development, as well as a background in sales channel management. “As we continue to grow and broaden our footprint with respect to erosion control and landscaping markets throughout the world,” says FINN President Shawn Casey, “I believe Greg will bring added capability for marketing and strategic analysis, as well as improvements in basic business processes to the sales, marketing and aftermarket functions.”

Stephen Barnes has been hired as Chief Financial Officer. He will be working with FINN’s current CFO and Executive Vice President, Tom McDonald, until McDonald retires later this year. Barnes is a CPA with a background as a CFO and senior financial leader for industrial and manufacturing companies in the Midwest. “We’re very fortunate to have a transition period where Steve and Tom can work together,” says Casey. “A talented CFO is integral to everything we do; from production to parts inventories to dealer and vendor relationships. Tom has been exceptional, and we expect Steve will be so as well, given his background and skill set, and with the advantages of this working transition.”

Additionally, as Vice President of Operations, Matt Day’s duties have been expanded to include not only the company’s engineering department, but also ensuring that products meet customer delivery, quality, cost, and performance requirements. Plus he will oversee and manage new product development activities. Earlier this year, Tim Gerbus, Director of Dealer Development, added management of the FINN Distribution Sales Managers to his current dealer network management duties; Tim Boyle was also hired in 2014 as Director of Aftermarket and Customer Care to manage the aftermarket activities for the parts, service, and warranty departments. FINN also recently added Distribution Sales Managers for the Western Region and Southeast Region, so that FINN now has a full complement of internal and external sales staff to help promote both dealer and direct sales. Additionally, FINN has added resources to its engineering department to provide additional product support and an emphasis on innovation. “We’ve made a lot of positive changes this year, so that we can successfully move forward in the industries we serve,” says Casey. “We are continually looking for new avenues to increase sales, increase exposure, improve our products, and strengthen our dealer network. Adding people who are talented and capable in key areas will help ensure we’re able to meet these goals.”
