When it came time to modernize their existing recovery facility, Alpine Waste & Recycling, a private waste and recycling hauling company, selected Machinex Technologies, Inc.  In 2007, Machinex was an instrumental partner in helping Alpine improve recycling in Denver by utilizing a combination of reconditioned and new machinery to process up to 10 tph of single stream recyclables.  Today, Machinex is very proud to attend the Grand Re-Opening of this upgraded, summer-commissioned, modern-day system. Brent Hildebrand, VP of Recycling at Alpine Waste & Recycling proudly explains his experience. “From the beginning of the installation process to the commissioning of the system, Machinex has been very professional and delivered ahead of schedule.  So far, the system is running as expected and we are pleased with the start-up.”

Machinex designed the system in order to significantly increase the processing capacity, 25 TPH, while adding flexibility for future needs and market changes. This system incorporates the most recent developments in a MRF.  The optimized MACH OCC screen design was developed considering industry operational and maintenance concerns.  The proven MACH Ballistic Separator and MACH HyspecTM Optical Sorter for PET were incorporated for increased efficiency.  Also, Machinex earned Alpine’s confidence and was given the approval to install a Machinex High Capacity II-Ram Baler, the first in the United States. Chris Hawn, North American Sales Manager says: “The Alpine project is a great example of our desire to react to the industry’s current position.  Along with our customers, we follow market conditions and recognize that there are current needs for optimization within an existing system while minimizing downtime.  Although Machinex has a proven track record with new turnkey installations, we recognize the need to improve upon existing operations and increase efficiency.”
