This month, NSAC celebrated its 8th anniversary. Formed in 2015 as an affiliate of the California Product Stewardship Council, NSAC is now an entirely separate entity and has its own 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Stewardship Action Foundation formed in 2021, with separate boards and budgets.
Over the years, NSAC has emerged as the leading force in advancing an equitable, circular economy in the United States. Their intersectional approach to environmental issues has been instrumental in addressing environmental inequality and ensuring that our policies and initiatives are inclusive and fair. Their commitment to reducing waste and pollution, keeping materials in motion, and regenerating natural systems has driven us to achieve remarkable milestones.
Looking ahead, the NSAC are more committed than ever to building a sustainable future for all. Together, let’s continue to drive change, promote responsible practices, and work towards a greener, more equitable world. Thank you for being part of our journey.
