HWE is now a wholly-owned business division of MCF Environmental Services, Inc. HWE is a nationwide hazardous waste disposal, chemical disposal, and environmental remediation company that operates by utilizing the PEGEXⓇ PLATFORM. PegExⓇ, Inc. will continue to operate as an independent technology company providing innovative cloud-based software to the waste management industry.
This sale is driven by PegExⓇ, Inc.’s focus on delivering leading-edge technology to solve the compliance, operational inefficiencies, and complexities of the waste management industry. With the completion of this sale, PegExⓇ, Inc. increases its ability to meet the additional needs of its customers in their evolving and regulated industry. PegExⓇ, Inc. continues to set the industry bar through rapid product iteration to improve productivity, eliminate compliance risks, and optimize its bottom line.
Going forward, the Hazardous Waste Experts business will be led by Dan Chamberlin as part of MCF Environmental Services, Inc., and PegExⓇ, Inc. will continue to be led by President and Chief Executive Officer Eric Apfelbach, who has served as CEO since August 2016.
