QED Environmental Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative environmental products and subsidiary of Graco Inc. has increased the production capacity at its US manufacturing facility in Dexter MI, as part of a global transition to centralize all production under one roof. The company’s extensive portfolio of pumps, skimmers, well heads, groundwater and soil sampling, treatment, and gas analyzer/detection products will now be designed and manufactured at the headquarters in Dexter, Michigan.

The transition will also see the Dexter facility become QED’s global calibration and service hub. As part of the global transition, the company has invested in a series of process improvements to streamline calibration and servicing procedures, and partnered with trusted freight partners throughout EMEA and APAC to maintain fast turnaround times.

QED is also making a series of wider ongoing investments in people, products and infrastructure with a view to increasing production capacity, including the recent expansion of the calibration lab and recruitment of two new territory managers for EMEA. Mitchell Perry, the new UK Territory Manager, joined QED 25 September 2023, while Zafar Iqbal was hired as QED’s Middle East and Africa Territory Manager on 1 November 2023.

Mark Weinberger, President QED Environmental Systems Inc., comments: “Centralising our manufacturing operations under one site will enable the company to continue to innovate and create environmental technology fit for the future.

“Our R&D and production teams will be able work side-by-side, under the same roof as our service and calibration teams. This proximity will ensure customer feedback can be absorbed and integrated into future product lines to deliver a continuous evolving approach to product design. This is a landmark moment in QED’s 42-year history and will prove critical to the next four decades of success and beyond.”

QED is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of environmental technology solutions and manufactures products used throughout a wealth of business-critical applications. These include biogas and biomethane production, groundwater and landfill remediation, landfill gas management, groundwater and soil sampling, water treatment and leak detection throughout the medical, oil and gas and water industries.
