GMT provides engineering, equipment & technology along with operational consulting and facility design services to commercial composting clients of all types.

GMT specializes in providing complete facility engineering & design, aeration technology packages and compost turning equipment solutions to commercial composting facilities, including advanced Aerated Static Pile (ASP) processing systems, Turned Aerated Pile (TAP) technologies and Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) for MSW treatment.

GMT’s commercial facility designs focus on maximum operational efficiency, processing speed and outstanding control of odors and other environmental factors such as stormwater management and permitting.

GMT also is a global leader in the category of “In Vessel Composters” which contain and automate the composting process while controlling and capturing odors.

GMT’s Earth Flow, CompTainer and CompoBox Tunnel in-vessel composting systems offer unparalleled process speed and odor control while requiring minimal operational labor.

GMT’s Site Built Earth Flow is a larger version of the containerized Earth Flow system, designed for small farms and small food-waste composting facilities that process up to 5,000 tons per year.

GMT’s CompoBox Tunnel system is ideal for medium to large scale industrial composting and recycling facilities processing between 10,000 to 150,000 tons per year. The enclosed system contains all odors and automates the management of oxygen and moisture levels, with rapid processing and minimal labor.

In partnership with Compost Systems GmbH of Austria, GMT offers world-class compost turning equipment including the unique TracTurn side-discharge compost turner.

GMT also offers affordable and effective PFAS-free compost cover systems for open-air ASP/TAP systems, as a cost-effective way to control odors and moisture management of the composting process.
