Distracted driving is any activity that diverts your attention away from the road. This includes texting or talking on your phone, eating or drinking, interacting with passengers—essentially, anything that takes your focus off driving safely. Waste and recycling workers spend a lot of time behind the wheel and should take steps to ensure safe and focused driving.
