The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) will host its annual conference, the National Recycling Congress, on December 5-6, 2023 as a virtual event on Zoom. At the two-day, coast-to-coast virtual event, nearly 60 will speak about the rise of circularity, environmental justice, diversity, inclusivity and equity, federal funding for climate protection, food service reuse systems breakthroughs, and much more.
“The National Recycling Coalition is once again bringing together professional and exciting opportunities for attendees, as we have over the last 40 years of producing the Recycling Congress,” said Leslie Lukacs, President of the NRC. “We are very pleased to incorporate a number of important sessions addressing diversity, equity, and inclusivity for our industry.”

NRC has attracted prestigious global and national leaders not usually seen on the recycling circuit, including Steven Stone, Deputy Director Industry and Economy Division, United Nations Environment Programme, who will address the UN’s Turning Off The Tap report on global plastic pollution

Recycling Congress history runs deep at the National Recycling Coalition: the NRC organized the First-ever National Recycling Congress in 1980. Many valuable connections and achievements have arisen from it over the decades.
