Waste Pro has been named the fourth largest privately owned company in Central Florida, according to Orlando Business Journal’s Golden 100 Companies with revenues of $510 million.  The company has 2 million customers, 2,750 employees and more than 1,800 heavy trucks. Waste Pro’s growth and increased market share in eight Southeastern states was also recently recognized as part of Waste 360’s 21st edition of their Industry Ranking.  In its Annual Hauling & Disposal ranking, the Waste 100, Waste Pro is ranked number11 among America’s largest waste collection companies. 

Waste Pro was founded in 2001 by John J. The overall growth of Waste Pro has been sytematic and strategic, gaining market share throughout their Southeastern footprint, including the addition of more than 250,000 new residential customers, resulting in a revenue increase from $414 million in 2012 to $464 million in 2013.  The increased recognition regionally and nationally positions Waste Pro well among the larger publicly held companies in the industry and further exemplifies the viability of its business model.
