Waste Pro USA, Inc. is excited to begin providing waste and recycling collection service in the City of Oviedo effective October 1, 2020. Collection days for trash, recycling, and yard waste and bulk items, such as furniture or appliances, will not be changed.
City leaders voted unanimously to award service to Waste Pro in August. As the fifth largest privately-owned company in Central Florida, Waste Pro is proud to provide service to the majority of Seminole County and the region as a whole.
“We’re thrilled to be serving the City of Oviedo,” said Regional Vice President Tim Dolan. “Going into this process, the city knew what they wanted – a waste company that aligned with their goals to continually raise the image of the city. We showed them that we are just that, and we look forward to getting started.” Residents will be serviced out of Waste Pro’s Sanford division.
