Agilyx Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilyx AS and a pioneer in the advanced recycling of post-use plastics, has announced the appointment of Shellie Gasaway as Vice President of Business Development, Americas and Asia-Pacific. Shellie Gasaway will further expand the company’s business relationships in North and SouthAmerica, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region.
In her new role, Gasaway will bring her commercial and solutions-focused approach to identify key opportunities to further develop Agilyx’s sustainable and circular solutions for plastics. Her focus will be cultivating long-lasting business relationships to foster the increase in plastic recycling rates in the Americas and Asia-Pacific. “We are thrilled to welcome Shellie to the team, who brings with her such vast experience. Shellie will bolster current relationships, while forging new contacts and strategies that will be integral to driving growth in the Americas and beyond,” stated Tim Stedman, Agilyx CEO.
Gasaway brings extensive know-how of business strategy and growth, deal management, contract development and customer relations. Gasaway joins Agilyx from Powell Industries, a global manufacturer of Integrated/Packaged Solutions and Electrical Equipment, where she was the Global Strategic Account and Business Segment Leader. Prior to this, she previously held positions at General Electric within account management, sales, project development and process engineering, while also gaining considerable licensing experience.
