Rumpke Waste & Recycling continues to grow in Northeastern Ohio through the recent purchase of Pinnacle Recycling, LLC in Akron, OH. With this transaction, Rumpke adds Pinnacle’s 135,000 sq. ft. recycling facility and related equipment that sits on 18 acres to their operations and allows them to process an additional 78,000 tons of recyclable material per year. It also provides a hub for additional service offerings in the Akron area.

Rumpke is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio and has additional operations in Cleveland, Mansfield, Medina and Broadview Heights. “We’ve been working very closely with the team at Pinnacle to ensure a smooth service transition for customers and the employees,” said Jeff Snyder, Rumpke’s recycling director. “We’re very excited to serve the customers of Akron and surrounding areas.”
