Chris St Peters has joined Star Energy Holding as President of Star BioEnergy and Stella Energia, the Anaerobic Digester technology holding companies within the Star umbrella, which produces Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), nutrients and by-products for use in local circular economies, effective immediately. Chris takes over a large development pipeline, with one project, Nature’s Methane Huntington AD I, (NMHI) over 75% constructed and two additional sites (one “farm” based, and one “urban” based) at NTP to Construction along with twelve more sites close to NTP. Additionally, Stella Energia just executed the first develop, build, and transfer agreement on an Anaerobic Digester (AD) for a new customer, this provides a solid platform for Chris to build many hundreds of Anaerobic Digesters throughout the United States.

Previously, he was COO of NuCycle Energy, an alternative fuel company. Recruited to commercialize the technology, he had been instrumental in the start-up of the Plant City location working with the market development, funding, site selection, permitting, and construction oversight. He previously led the Material Acquisition efforts along with overseeing the operations. He was also instrumental along with his team completing successful test burns at a two other Cement Plants, which is are two of the next five offtake agreements he and his team was working to close.

His career began as an apprentice engineer for Magnetek Electric Motor Company, where he designed electric motors, generators, and drives. He transferred to the Sales Department after 2 years in the engineering side to help increase market share on the west coast in the Pool and Spa markets. Later, he transitioned into the waste and recycling industry in 1993 with Browning Ferris Industries three-time winner of the BFI’s most prestigious employee award for achieving over 150% of his goals three years in a row. Earlier in his career, Chris joined Aspen Waste Systems, Inc. in January of 1998 working directly for the President and CEO. He was responsible for the start-up, sales, business development, and operations of the St. Louis, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa locations.
