While TDS is one of the largest independently-owned solid waste collection, processing and disposal companies in the nation, they stay true to their priority of connecting with each and every customer. That’s why when they saw that some of the children in the neighborhoods they service chose to be TDS truck drivers for Halloween 2020, they were filled with happiness and gratitude.

This year for Halloween, Georgetown, Texas resident Sabrina Hildebrant crafted costumes modeled after her kids’ favorite Texas Disposal Systems truck driver, Warren Paynes. Paynes is a Lead Residential Driver for Texas Disposal Systems.

Hildebrant and her two young children, Hendrik and Alarik, have been friends with Warren ever since he began servicing their house two years ago. There was no question as to who her children wanted to dress up as for Halloween this year — TDS driver Warren! The children even found work boots to match Warren’s.

Every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. the siblings patiently listen for Warren’s truck driving down their street and greet him with a cooler full of water, Gatorade and popsicles. From watching the crusher to listening to the beeps and extra honks Warren gives them, both children eagerly await his arrival every week.  Hildebrant always appreciates Warren’s going the extra mile to take time for her kids and notes the great pride he takes in his work.
