The Composting Council Research & Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees announce the recent hire of Wayne Howard as Program Manager. Howard will be working with the Foundation predominately on its Compost Operation Training Courses (COTC), researching the development of an online library, and creating webinars and videos for training and educational purposes.

Howard brings to CCREF a wealth of knowledge and experience in agricultural waste treatment, water resources, as well as in film and developing online learning opportunities, which will be an exciting addition to the educational and resource materials offered by CCREF. ’s background in the sciences as well as his strong communication skills, including social media and visual, will be an excellent addition to the current staff at CCREF and will help the Foundation strengthen its programs and services.” The Board of Trustees are thrilled to welcome him and know that he will add great value to the Foundation’s work,” said Trustee Chair, Ginny Black.

Although Howard has not worked directly in the compost industry, he does bring personal experience and an appreciation of the importance of compost.“As he explained,
