WCA has appointed Dianna Cervantes to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of WCA, effective November 14, 2016. “I am thrilled to welcome Dianna to WCA where she will be an exceptional addition to our team. I expect her to have an immediate impact and help scale our business for long-term operational and financial success,” said Bill Caesar, CEO of WCA. “Her 16 years of financial leadership experience will be instrumental in providing the finance vision and strategy to help our organization reach its goals.”

Cervantes will lead and provide senior management oversight to WCA’s  accounting, financial planning, treasury and risk management operations.

Cervantes joins WCA after serving as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Rockwater Energy Solutions in Houston, Texas, where she led more than 40 accountants, managed the external audit process and proved to be a skilled leader. Cervantes brings with her an extensive background in corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, performance analysis, and capital investment management.

Cervantes’ impressive track record includes over ten years of experience in the waste industry, serving in various financial reporting and analysis roles for Waste Management both at the corporate office and in the field. She served as one of the company’s technical accounting experts responsible for providing accounting guidance to the company’s field finance organizations and the treasury, tax, internal audit and human resources departments.

Cervantes is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii.
