Dan Bacehowski, CGP, is HDR’s new waste sector environmental practice lead. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Bacehowski is focused on strategy development and technical leadership to provide waste clients with industry-leading environmental and groundwater solutions. “I look forward to bringing my experience in the industry and relationship building skills to the innovative HDR waste team to collaboratively grow the business,” Bacehowski said.
Throughout Dan’s 21-year career he’s partnered with clients on environmental projects for waste, industrial and power facilities. Most recently, he served as the solid waste market leader for the environmental division at Foth Companies where he specialized in business development and management of capital improvement and environmental compliance projects.
“Dan’s flexibility and keen business understanding are integral in guiding clients through the environmental compliance process,” said Doug DeCesare, HDR global solid waste services director. “He has the drive and experience to match the uptick in demand for waste and coal combustion residual services within our industry and the power industry.”
Bacehowski is a certified groundwater professional in Iowa, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Iowa. Dan has served on the board of directors for the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations for 10 years.
